Last night, Matt decided to do something he's been avoiding for the past few months - watching a GOP debate. Part way through, he understood why he's been dodging them - they're awful. He used this debate and another story to start out the hour. The other day, a friend of his stated that she would not vote for anyone who didn't support gay marriage, and no other issue was really important. Knowing that he'd offend both the left and right, Matt re-informed everyone that it's "do or die for the Republic", and social issues THIS election are not AS important given the decline of our country, falling dollar, globalist push, etc. Next, Matt introduces you to the all new Clarkcast.com - a project that's been a year in the making and new to 2012. At the bottom of the hour, the Clarkcast showcases what's really in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). You'll hear the bill as it was written, further proving this hour's first argument - it's "do or die for the Republic" this year!

Matt further explains his stance on social issues this election cycle after a caller disagreed with his take. It's important to note that he doesn't dismiss their importance; however, explains that such issues are not even going to matter down this economic and fiscal road of destruction. Next, what is a right? It's amazing that more people from the far left are loosely defining objects as rights. Recall Congressman Jessie Jackson, Jr. (D) a few months back claiming that iPods and laptops are rights. Excuse me? Sorry, they're not. Several on the left are also stating that health care is a right. It sounds mean and awful to say this, but health care is also not a right. Granted, we as a community (on a local level) have an moral obligation to help our fellow man out; however, this moral obligation does not extend to the federal government. At the bottom of the hour, this month's Trigger Talk Radio with Dick Cupka begins with an overview of gun sales this past holiday season. Dick also discusses the teen mother that shot an intruder, the Castle Doctrine, and much more.
