Matt recalls a segment from his show a few weeks back. On January 7th of this year during a GOP presidential debate, candidates were asked about states outlawing contraception. Completely stunned by why such a question would be asked, candidates laughed at the issue while being confused by its origin. The following day, Matt was on the air with the answer - it's a distraction. A month later, it would seem the Obama Administration has waged war against the Catholic Church by forcing Catholics to go against their religious beliefs. Again, it's a distraction (while also creating another issue against the First Amendment). The Clarkcast delves into this distraction, the reason for it, and then takes takes some calls. At the bottom of the hour, Matt spotlights audio of Rick Santorum standing up against the left-wing media. The former Senator also reminded us that Barack Obama got a pass in 2008 for his 20-year affiliation with Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Remember Reverend Wright? You'll get a reminder of his anti-American rhetoric. Last, Obama was recently asked about his "fundamental transformation" of America. His response is nothing short of hilarious.

Hour two begins with Stacy Swimp (www.stacyswimp.net Opens new window) - a black conservative and a "frontline fighter" - joining Matt on-air. Stacy gives his take on the current GOP presidential hopefuls and argues that social issues are indeed important. At the bottom of the hour, new audio from Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner reveals that the Obama Administration has no "definitive solution" for our escalating debt crisis. With all of Obama's massive spending (more than George Washing through Bill Clinton - combined!), wouldn't you think the administration would have a plan to reduce our deficit spending? To make matters worse, Timmy testifies while laughing and giggling during a House committee hearing (www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwjrkDi55Rs Opens new window). Next, Matt asks the question, "At what point does our national debt blatantly impact the average American?" Unfortunately, it has already. Just take a look at the rising costs of food, energy, and just about everything else.
